Trivia: 1-5=Japan. 6-9=Seattle. 9-11=Hawaii. 11-23=Seattle. Currently in Japan at 25-y.o.)
[2] It's Furukawa Yuuta's Starting Days ^_^

After three people answered the round, only then was I able to think of what bonus question to give for Sano Daiki (WHO IS BY FAR THE MOST AWESOMEST THEATER TROUPE LEADER EVER FOR SRS). But ANYWAY!! Douzo.
[1] AAA (Attack All Around), and the members from the Delicious Five are Nishijima Takahiro (NISSY!!) and Atae Shinjiro (ATAECCHI ♥♥♥♥♥♥)
[2] Nakamura Yuuichi from the D-BOYS and Miura Ryousuke from the PureBOYS. To this day I am still "WTF!?"-ing over Miura's inclusion in the group, I mean, he was already known before PureBOYS was even conceptualized...
[3] AMANO HIRONARI AND THAT MAN'S VOICE IS GORGEOUS. IASUDFHIASUDHFNAILSUDHFAISUDH. Randomly, Sano Daiki's older brother Mizuki was the FIRST EVER Tuxedo Mask for SeraMyu. LULZ.

daimao -- in which they didn't get together after filming niji-iro

And as he stands there, a rush of memories from that night comes back to him: of trying and failing to fight back a heavy yawn even as he sat comfortably on the floor, leaning against a couch; of getting up, supported by a steady arm around his body, and being walked through a door; of sitting on the edge of a bed, not quite soft but not incredibly firm either, of settling on a pillow that fit his head easily; of waking up to the slow realization that he was not in his own room, that he had fallen asleep next to a reassuring warmth and breathing in a scent that was vaguely familiar and not unwelcome at all. He shivers; as long ago as it had happened, the recollection is more vivid than he thought it could be.

He glances up at the door, at the brass-plated 305 mounted on it just above his eye level. He reaches out to touch it. An even more distant memory plays in his mind: his hair slightly damp, towel falling over his collarbones. Being pushed back, light non-kisses ghosting over exposed neck, fingers fumbling with buttons of pajamas. Watching a head of brown hair crossing his body from one shoulder to the other, the repeated clicking of a camera shutter as he shakily delivers his lines.

Once again he wonders if he has temporarily gone insane.

Well, I'm already here. Before he can change his mind, he raps his knuckles against the wood twice, thrice.

*******

On the other side, the resident tears his eyes away from his cellphone (bearing a message with a sense of urgency -- one of his friends had suddenly gone missing, does he maybe have any idea where that friend could have gone?) and looks toward the door at the sound of faint knocking.

*******

The door swings open just as Mao takes his first step backward away from it. Daisuke stands there, in an old pair of basketball shorts and a thin, loose shirt that had definitely seen better days, hair up on one side and flat on the other -- he'd obviously been lying down on his side for quite a while before coming to the door. Mao does not bother suppressing the giggle that forms in his throat at how unpresentable he looks.

Mao! The surprise is evident in the other's voice. What brings you here?

For the life of him, Mao cannot think of an answer. I just felt like it does not seem a good enough reason, but it is what he gives anyway. It is only now, as he feels the front pockets of his pants and sticks his hands in the pockets of his jacket, that he realizes he has left home without his mobile.

Daisuke invites him in, points him toward the couch, apologizes for the messy state he has left it in -- pillows knocked onto the floor, a near empty glass of beer and a crumpled bag of chips on the low table in front of it -- and tells him to make himself comfortable before excusing himself to the kitchen. There, he takes out a pitcher of water and two fresh glasses. He is about to rejoin his visitor when it occurs to him that he should let Toyo, the harbringer of news of Mao's disappearance, know that Mao is with him. As he types out the message, he wonders if Mao might have just escaped and thinks to add to his message that Toyo should advise Mao's family against coming to fetch him, and he does.

When he returns to the sitting room, it is to find Mao's rapt attention on the movie that Daisuke had been watching before the unexpected arrival. Sorry, he says again, and follows it with You can change it if you like.

Mm, it's okay, the younger one answers with a shake of his head and a small smile. I like this movie.. They sit in silence for a while, watching guns fire and dust fly as Wild Wild West continues to play.

I would ask if I was intruding on anything, but I can see it would be pointless. Daisuke chuckles lightly at that. It's a boring night. But I'm not sleepy yet.

I'm sorry for suddenly showing up, Mao answers, his focus shifting from the glowing box to his seatmate. No, no, it's okay, Daisuke reassures him, and finishes the last of the beer, which has already gone flat. He wonders if there is some deeper reason to Mao's unprecedented visit. Mao is not the type to keep things to himself, so the given reason must be true. But then again, he is also not the type to do things on impulse.

A half hour passes, it is already 11:23 on the digital clock atop the television. Please don't tell my mom or brother that I'm here. Mao is clearly tired and not thinking straight, forgetting that Daisuke has no direct contact with any other member of the Hamao family. Daisuke hums his assent.

Another ten minutes pass.

*******

That was my first kiss, you know.

Daisuke eyelids, which have already begun to droop, fly open at the sound issuing from the head of coppery brown hair that has fallen onto his shoulder. He had thought his companion already asleep.

Hm? In his now-sleepy state, it is the only response he can muster. Mao lets out a soft giggle, and turns his head to look somewhere in the vicinity of Daisuke's ear.

That day, when we filmed the ending scene on the beach.

So much for not being one to keep things to himself. Nine months since then and you tell me only now? Wish you'd told me before we filmed, I could've set you up with my cousin or something, and --

No, it's okay. I... Don't mind. The admission is soft, barely audible, but Daisuke catches it anyway and it eases the little pang of sheepish guilt. It is there in Mao's voice, that open and honest nature of his, and Daisuke is sure that if he turns to look, he would see that trust, almost vulnerable, in the other's eyes.

It is a while before either of them speaks again, and when Daisuke whispers Mao's name, only steady breathing is his response. Daisuke wants to be a good host and offer his room, but Mao barely even stirs, except to lean more, when Daisuke shakes his shoulder to rouse him. So instead he gently stretches the sleeping figure along the length of the couch, and wonders momentarily if he should remove Mao's pants (sleeping in denim can't be comfortable, he thinks), but in the end decides against it.

It is a slightly warm summer night, but he lays a blanket over Mao anyway.

*******

(When You Push the Switch ~ Why do you Live?)
Other TeniMyu Actors: Aiba Hiroki in the 2006 run, with Yanagishita Tomo taking the role (well, half of it anyway -- Aiba's character was sort of split into two XD) in the 2007 run. Kiriyama Renn was also in the 2007 run as a character who wasn't in the previous show. AND WHY ARE YOU ALL FORGETTING ABOUT SUGAWARA TAKUMA, the first Tachibana??? TT______________TT (Is it obvious I don't like Yoh much? XD)
Bonus: The title of the wonderful song is Mata Ashita (See You Tomorrow), and it is HAUNTINGLY beautiful. Especially the way MITSU (one of the cast members) sings it. The one I uploaded is the Nagayan version, with MITSU on back-up vocals.

tenimyucation 06

Title: Kamen Rider Decade
Other TeniMyu actors:
Seto Kouji -- first two episodes. Technically, he wasn't in Kiva's world even though he *is* Kiva, because the timeline in Decade was when Seto's character Wataru was a kid. But yeah, I'll accept Kiva world.
Murai Ryouta -- Kuuga world, and everywhere else, really, since Yuusuke leaves the Kuuga world with Tsukasa&Co.
Kitamura Eiki -- Ryuuki world (Lawyer and Judge world!)
Kawahara Kazuma -- Blade world (The one with the super adorable Suzuki Hiroki going "Chiefu~!" at Maa-kun.)
Sakurada Doori -- Den-Ou world (For all of, like, two seconds XDDD AT LEAST IT WASN'T SATOU WHATSHISFACE, THANK GOD.)
Makita Tetsuya -- Kabuto world (He looked really, REALLY hot. Or I'm just biased.)
Aiba Hiroki -- Shinkenger world (asufhalsiduhfasiodufhai MOST. EPIC. WORLD. EVER.)
Bonus: "Ride the Wind" was performed by Inoue Masahiro himself. ^_^ Wouldn't have guessed it myself, he sounds so different. Then again, so did Seto when he was frontman for the band TETRA-FANG formed from last year's Kamen Rider Kiva, but I would know Seto's voice anywhere.

Title: Kizumomo
Other TeniMyu actors: Furukawa Yuuta, Kawai Ryuunosuke
Bonus: The title "Kizumomo" literally means "wounded peach" ("kizu" = "wound", "momo" = "peach"). Figuratively speaking, it's used to refer to pretty much any blemished fruit -- for example, a lumpy apple or a bruised mango or an overly squishy banana. The title of the Making Of is Boku-tachi no Hajimari (Our Beginning).
